Bird Banding Day

We will be meeting together at Crieff Hills on May 9th at 9:30 am (the day actually runs from 8:30 am - noon, but we will meet as a group at 9:30 am), to participate in their World Migratory Bird Day! 

(if possible please let Joni, jsmith@standrewshespeler.ca, know if you plan to join us so that Crieff Hills can be prepared for our group.)

Why not check out the finds at the Annual Garage Sale at St. Andrew's Hespeler (8:00 am - noon) and then head out to Crieff?

Cambridge Highlands Lions Club, What Makes Hespeler Great? Art Contest

The Hespeler Reunion Committee is very excited to announce that the Cambridge Highlands Lions Club has partnered with us in a tremendous way.  The Cambridge Highlands Lions Club has donated a $1,000.00 RESP contribution as top prize for the student submission to the “What makes Hespeler great?” Art Contest.  The Cambridge Highlands Lions Club is a small group of local men and women, who seek ways to support, promote and improve our local community.  This Top Student Prize of $1,000.00 will have an enormous impact on a student choosing to continue their education.  This is an awesome example of how the Cambridge Highlands Lions Club finds innovative ways of changing lives for the better.  What a great gesture of support and a very real way of promoting young local talent.  To learn more about the Cambridge Highlands Lions Club or to become a member I encourage you to visit their website at http://www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/cambridgeh/

Church Picnic

It might be a bit early to be talking about having a picnic, but please set aside the date now!

We will Celebrate 160 years together starting with our Church Picnic

after worship on Sunday, June 14th, on the church lawn!

This promises to be a very fun event to attend!

Summer Day Camp!

The Athalie Read Group is once again holding their Annual Garage Sale

on Saturday, May 9th; 8:00 am - noon.

This year the proceeds will help the Neno Girls Secondary School in Malawi.

Grand Re-Opening of our Nursery/Toddler care

Today we celebrated the Re-opening of our newly renovated Nursery/Toddler facility.  

We are thankful to those who work in the nursery, past and present.

Instead of the traditional ribbon cutting, our littlest members did this portion of the program!  Scott said some words of thankfulness and prayer, then our little members "broke" out, and we enjoyed some cookies and drinks together.

Thank you to everyone who helped update this facility and the program, and to our wonderful Nursery/Toddler group staff!
